The only thing stopping green energy is that it's expensive. The cheaper we make it the more green energy will work it's way into the economy. Subsidizing green energy is one way, but the subsidies are expensive and if large will be attacked. Worse yet, subsidies are controlled by lobbyists and they always end up wasting tons of money.
There is only one way to make green energy as cheap as possible. Use the market. What does that mean? Give people an economic incentive to use it -- and don't bias the incentive towards one kind of green energy or another. Then everyone will seek out all the cheapest ways to get green energy. And businesses will compete to make and sell the cheapest kind of green energy.
This is how the market makes TVs, cellphones, and everything else cheaper an cheaper -- and yes, things are much cheaper than 10, 20 or 50 years ago. It works.
There's only one book that really explains how this work and how to make green energy work.
