Downloading Documents:
If you have any trouble downloading, Download WITHOUT viewing!!.
Right-click the link.
Choose 'save target as ...' in Internet Explorer.
Choose 'save link target as ...' in Netscape.
(Viewing uses a browser pluggin, not the full acrobat, and can cause trouble.)

Three Choices Control the Search List
1. Your search strings: (a) Search:, (b) Authors, (c) Title:
2. Your choice of Sort Order: Date / Acquired / Author / Cat #
3. Your choice of File Types to display.
Make these three choices then click on Refresh/Search:
The best matches are at the top
Scroll down through the list and back up as you like.
Change a shearch string and hit refresh. You will go to the top of the new list.
Change Order, File type, or Card lines. Hit refresh and see your list a new way.

How the Search Works:
=> Words in the main Search string gets 1 point for each match anywhere in a card.
=> Each author name gets 10 points for matching a name in the author field.
=> The Title string gets 50 points for an exact match of the complete string.
(All comparisons ignore case.)

Examples:
To see an Authors works with most recent at the top,
Enter Authors last name and click Sort Cards by Date.
To find documents on the hydrogen cars,
Enter "Hydrogen cars" in the main search field.
To find all available spread sheets,
Click on File Types: Other. Enter no search words.
(Never use quotes.)
